Then Tim Berners-Lee, a scientist at CERN, invented the World Wide Web in 1990. The Web, as it is affectionately called, was originally conceived and developed to meet the demand for automatic information sharing between scientists working in different universities and institutes all over the world. In short, Tim-Berners Lee invented the WEB to connect documents together.
Then the humans did something totally unexpected but that was allowed by the Web Architecture envisionned...
The first thing they played with was the Websites and Web Pages
More and more people started to hyperlink their page with other pages from many people.....
At some point in history the human started to collaborate-participate together in virtual space and that is how the Social Web was born....

Semantic Web came in to enable machine-readable ontology and allow human to access aural interface and natural language processes
then.....
Symbiotic Web who is currently used only in military, medicine and quantum physics laboratory will be more and more publicly accessible.... (Symbiotic means that the physical worlds and virtual worlds are meshed).
